Ethereum2.0のテストネット最終版Medallaがリリース

ETH2.0の最後のテストネットMedallaがリリースされました。

ローンチ担当者のDanny Ryan氏が事前に発表していた通り、Ethereum2.0 Phase0のテストネット8月4日にローンチされました。

しかし、Ethereum Foundationの開発者であるHudson Jameson氏によると、当初予想していたよりもバリデーターノードの参加数が少なく、今後の対応を考えているとしています。

2/2 low number of validators and how it will improve as more validators come online! This is what testnets are for and I'm excited to see the situation develop as we get more folks online on the testnet. Get hype. Eth2 is coming 🙂

今回のEthereumテストネットはマルチクライアントネットとなっており、本番の環境に近い仕様となっています。ネットワークにはクライアントとしてTeku、Prysm、Nimbus、LodestarそしてLighthouseが参加しています。
