DeFi大手が巨額ハッキング被害。10回超の監査も効果なし

分散型金融（DeFi）の主要プロトコルであるBalancerで11月3日、大規模な不正流出が発生しました。被害総額は1億2800万ドル以上に達しています。このプロトコルは過去10回以上のセキュリティ監査を受けていましたが深刻な脆弱性を突かれた形となります。

ブロックチェーンセキュリティ企業PeckShieldがBalancerと複数の関連プロトコルが攻撃を受けていると報告。被害はイーサリアム上で約1億ドル、Berachainで1290万ドルに上りました。他にもArbitrumやBaseなど複数のチェーンで被害が確認されました。

セキュリティ企業Phalconの分析によれば、攻撃者はバッチスワップにおけるプール価格の計算ロジックの脆弱性を悪用。これにより内部の価格情報を不正に操作しシステムが修正する前に資産を引き出すことに成功しました。

Balancerは2020年の稼働以来堅牢なプロトコルと見なされてきました。しかし、この事件はその信頼を破壊しました。

Web3開発者のSuhail Kakar氏はBalancerが複数の独立企業によるレビューを含め10回以上の監査を受けていた事実を指摘。今回の事件は「監査済み」という言葉がDeFiの安全性を保証するものではないことを示しています。
