サムスン・SKハイニックス急落、ビットコインは8.3万ドル台回復

ビットコインは10月13日、アジア株の急落にもかかわらず8万3000ドル台を回復しました。一時は8万1000ドルを割り込みましたが、その後持ち直しています。

South Korea's AI-driven stock market selloff is intensifying:

The KOSPI plunged as much as -7.4% on Tuesday, briefly falling below 6,000 for the first time since late July and triggering a temporary trading halt, before closing down -5.5%. $EWY

The KOSPI is now down more than -15% over the last 5 days and -35% from its June peak.

Samsung Electronics fell -7.4%, while SK Hynix, $SKHY plunged -10.1%, with the two memory-chip giants accounting for ~50% of the KOSPI's total market capitalization.

The selloff reflects growing concerns about competition from China's CXMT, a Chinese memory-chip maker, which unveiled a new DRAM chip structure with ~30% less cell area and plans to launch a product using the technology by the end of 2026.

The pressure extends beyond Korea, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index, $SOXX, falling -2.7% overnight as investors reassess the AI chip industry's growth outlook.

Meanwhile, foreign investors remain heavy sellers of Korean equities, adding to the pressure as confidence in the memory-chip boom weakens.

韓国の総合株価指数KOSPIは一時7.4%下落し、6035.35で取引を終えました。サムスン電子は7.39%、SKハイニックスは10.09%下落し、ともに5営業日続落となりました。

CoinGlassのデータによると、24時間の仮想通貨の清算額は8億1290万ドルに達し、17万209人のトレーダーが影響を受けました。このうち買い（ロング）ポジションが6億8672万ドルと全体の84.5%を占めています。銘柄別ではビットコインが1億9214万ドルで最大となり、イーサリアムが1億8050万ドル、ソラナが6085万ドルで続きました。

韓国株の下落について、調査会社Paradis Labsは海外機関投資家によるサムスン電子とSKハイニックスからの継続的な撤退を背景に挙げています。同日の海外投資家の売りは約4兆5000億ウォンに上りました。ブロードコムのホック・タンCEOがAI投資を賭けに例えた発言や中国の長鑫存儲技術（CXMT）による新たなDRAM技術の発表も、懸念を強めたとされています。

一方、CryptoQuantのアナリストJA Maartunn氏は、ビットコインのネットテイカー出来高（積極的な売りと買いの差）が再びマイナスに転じたと指摘しました。価格の回復は、積極的な買いよりも売り方の買い戻しなどに支えられている可能性があります。

株安が深まったり10月14日の米インフレ指標を前にレバレッジが再び積み上がったりすれば、回復は改めて試されることになりそうです。
